Prerequisites: Recognised Beauty or Hairdressing Qualification

2 Models will be required for the practical sessions with at least 2 days beard growth (1 model from 11.45am – 1.00pm and 1 model from 1.45pm – 3.00pm)

Course Contents:

·        Client Consultation

·        Contra-indications

·        Health & Safety

·        Preparation of client

·        Equipment required for Hot Towel Shave

·        Review all products used in Vitaman Shave Range

·        Learn how to carry out the following:-

·        Dress client and make comfortable

·        How to hold a cut throat razor

·        How to apply shaving cream

·        Perform shave using Hot Towel method

·        Aftercare/Retail advice

Course Objectives:
Intensive one day course that will provide reasonable background with focus on the practical application Hot Towel Shave.  Certificates will be issued on successful completion and is 11 CPD points towards an NVQ and insurance.

For Beauty Therapists – Insurance requires a Barbering Extension.

A light lunch will be provided, with tea, coffee and water facilities.
